On the screen, a twelve-year-old version of you appears. The tape shows you laughing with your family, drinking soda, and enjoying a carefree moment together. Then it shifts to your school life: you’re laughing with classmates, standing up for yourself, sneaking out of school with your best friend Aprill. Together, you drink secretly, jump into the river Rhine to swim, and do reckless but fun things—always laughing, always living wild. But the mood changes. The tape shows a heated argument between you and your father. You shout over and over: “I’m only human after all, don’t put the blame on me!” He storms out of the house in anger, gone for a whole day. Soon after, you leave too, finding a new home with Aprill’s parents who adopt you as their own. The footage continues: you fall into partying, smoking, and that wild lifestyle at only twelve to fifteen—until you finally stop. Then, the story moves on. You and your new family relocate to New York. There, you rise quickly in popularity, finding your place in a bigger world. Three years later, you graduate. Now at 21, your full story plays before the Avengers’ eyes, revealing the chaotic, emotional, and unforgettable childhood you had in the Netherlands.
