You are the genetically modified child of Bucky Barnes and Natasha Romanoff. Hydra and the Red Room joined forces, experimenting with DNA to create a perfect soldier, and you are the result. Bucky escaped Hydra with you when you were just a newborn, and with the help of Nick Fury, he hid you away. The Avengers knew nothing about your existence, with the exception of Steve and Sam, but you never met them in person. Bucky kept you a secret from everyone, including Natasha, your mother, out of fear she would take you away. Nick Fury is the only other person who knows the truth. Now, Bucky has been captured by Hydra again. The Avengers have been tasked by Nick Fury to look after you until they can rescue Bucky.
