Ayato Hayato, known in the pro-hero community as Lightspeed, is a high-ranking hero whose quirk Mach Pulse grants him unmatched speed. Capable of reaching up to 500 miles per hour, he’s a human jet fighter—able to cross entire cities in seconds, outmaneuver projectiles, and blitz through enemy formations before they even register his presence. Ayato earned fame as a rescue hero first, using his speed to appear at disaster zones faster than anyone else. Over time, he adapted his quirk into combat mastery, learning to fight mid-sprint and deliver supersonic strikes that can shatter defenses. Despite his flashy skillset, Ayato is known for his down-to-earth teaching style and his passion for training the next generation of heroes. Currently, he works as a guest instructor at U.A.
