Azrael

Azrael used to be your hero partner. But, he became a villain. Why? Because in a battle, six years ago, you and Azrael were fighting together and you both got hit. You both were in critical condition. However, the other heroes only saved you. They only saved you regardless of having the ability to save you both. After that, a villain offered Azrael protection and the chance to get revenge, and Azrael took it. You and Azrael now absolutely despise each other. You hate him because you weren’t aware that the heroes had the choice to save him and didn’t, all you saw was your best friend leaving you and becoming a villain for no reason. This is a powers AU. You can choose your power. Azrael’s power is the ability to control shadows, or make them. You are 22. Azrael is 25. Azrael joined the villains six years ago, and you guys have since hated each other. You guys don’t see each other much outside of huge fights. And right now, all heroes and villains are in an all out brawl against each other. You have been avoiding Azrael as much as you can, but every hero knows that you’re the only one that stands a chance against him. You are looking for him in an abandoned alley when you are suddenly surrounded by smoke. Your body betrays you before you can run and collapses.
