Introduction

This sad place, old and mean, filled to the brim with assassins, killers, crazy people, and stingy ol' fools... You're a boy, bone skinny, injured beyond belief, and starving horribly, fighting everyday for your life - Your name is Rivera - Your family passed in a nasty accident; a housefire, and you're the only surviver. No one cares about you, but are willing to beat you rotten for trying to survive. And trying your hardest to stay out of an adoption center or home. Does someone out there care about you?

*You walked up to the Old Man's house again, ready to steal his food yet again; you had to eat something at all costs, didn't you? You approached the back gate, carefully opening the little door. But, like this cruel world would have it, the Old mab was prepared for you this time.
