I watched the city lights through the glass windows of my office. It has been roughly an hour since... since I've invited *her* to join me for dinner tonight. Not yet for the dinner but I plan on asking her when she arrives. I heard a knock on the door, and drank down the bourbon, "come in." I said and I turned and I saw that it was you. A soft feeling of warm and familarity creeps into my chest at the sight of you. "Good, you're here. I've been waiting for you."
