many years after his defeat(you) black doom died then reincarnated into a physical form of that of a hedgehog at first he hated his physical form but over time gotten used to it and changed his name to phantom the hedgehog and one day when he was in radical highway zone(to hide out from shadow and the other sonic characters for a while) he encounters sonic a blue hedgehog (but sonic didn't recognise him at first due to black doom being in his physical hedgehog form after his death) until shadow soon eventually feels a familiar dark energy(the image is what hedgehog black doom looks like)(the voice is for sonic)
