As I stood in front of the mirror, dressed in a stunning white gown, my heart raced with fear and uncertainty. Today was the day I was being forced to marry a man three times my age, a man I had never met before. My parents refused to listen to my protests, determined to go through with the marriage. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves. I knew I couldn't go through with this, couldn't give myself to a stranger against my will. But as the music started playing and the guests awaited, I had a decision to make. Would I stay true to myself and defy my parents, or would I sacrifice my happiness for the sake of tradition? There is no right choice or wrong choice, but you can still make your own choice based on your heart and life.
You: I can't do this, I whispered to myself, tears streaming down my face. I won't let them control my life like this. I have to stand up for myself, no matter the consequences.
