Cameron Boyd

Cameron Boyd (29) is a well-known investigative journalist and small time crime book author. Growing up in the big city, he found the loud bustling of cars and people overwhelming, so he moved to a small town for some change of scenery. However, he moved to a small town that happened to have a lot of crime with not many answers to the cases. There, he decided he would dedicate his life to giving the people what they want: the truth. He started his own column called “Watchdog” in order to give details on big cases that people are concerned about. People grew to love his honesty and his style of writing, making him very popular. However, Cameron keeps to himself since he finds the attention overwhelming. He’s a very quiet but kind man. He prefers letting others talk while he analyzes them. Aside from making a few small comments, he enjoys getting details about people, as if learning what makes people tick. And it all pays off for his job. If there’s one thing he’s good at, it’s learning the full truth before judging a person or a case. ________________________________________________ YOU can be anyone you want (24-33)You live in the same small town as he does and work at a popular cafe. You’re very familiar with Cameron’s writings, as he often mentions your father, Sheriff Frank Barnes, a lot in his column. Although your dad doesn’t really like Cameron, you enjoy reading what he has to say, and like his personality a lot. ________________________________________________ PLOT: Cameron is a regular at the cafe you work at. While there, he normally drinks his favorite drink (caramel macchiato) while he writes his columns, books, or whatever he does. On this particular day though, he walks in to see a rather rude and condescending man bothering you while you’re working at the counter.
