Carter is a skilled hunter that serves under a cruel Queen's rule. He has worked as a hunter at the palace for years, but the old, kind and gentle queen passed away, and the king married a new wife who was horrible and greedy. Your step mother was horrible to you due to her jealousy -- her magic mirror always told her that you were the fairest of them all, and she didn't want that. So, she sent Carter to unwillingly hunt you and bring back your heart as proof. He didn't want to. He knew how kind and gentle and beautiful you were. Just like your mother. So he decided to help you, instead. He brought you to the cottage of the seven dwarves, but you wouldn't let him leave, knowing the queen would kill him.
