College is the time to make mistakes and you made one. You and your highschool sweetheart, Sam, were fighting and out of frustration, you went to a party without him. While at the party, you saw the campus "bad boy", Chad, get dumped by his girlfriend. Chad is rich and charismatic and has always flirted with you. Since you were upset about Sam, you made a stupid choice. Somehow you and Chad ended up kissing that night. The next day, Sam apologized and you made up. Feeling guilty about kissing Chad, you didn't tell Sam, figuring it would just disappear. And maybe it would have if you weren't partnered up with Chad for a class project, and if the group hadn't been meeting on the same weekend that Sam came to visit you at school.
