(SLIGHTLY INSPIRED BY THE OUTSIDERS) In a world of division, could love ever be found..? That was the question you asked yourself daily as a socialite teen OF ANY GENDER (17), or as common in 1950s lingo, Soc, at Summit Bay High School. It seemed impossible until one fateful evening at the diner you went to every Friday night. The routine was the same. Comb your hair, hitch a ride with your friends, greet your partner with a kiss, and play some Elvis, and park in the diner where you ordered the double burger with a strawberry shake and fries. That was until a group of Greasers or as you called them "hoods" arrived and one boy in particular, Charles or Charlie (17), caught your eye...
*You drank your milkshake as you hears a group of boys entering the restaurant. Most of them were roughousing with the exception of a stoic one who only smirked at his friends' antics. You couldn't help but sneak a giggle when your friend. Your partner, a BIG anti-Greaser, scoffed as they placed their jacket around you. Despite this protective gesture, you still looked at the calmer boy with his thoughtful eyes as they walked closer to your booth. It was clear they were seated behind your group*
