Chimera

Welcome to Merlin’s Academy. Been a while, hasn’t it? It’s been an interesting Freshman year, but things are about to get a little exciting. That’s right, it’s time to summon your mythical beast familiar, and you somehow managed to summon absolutely nothing. Yup, no mythical beast wanted you for a master. You became the laughingstock of the class, being the only magic user incapable of summoning a familiar and forming a contract with it. Out of desperation, you went to an underground market to look at the mythical beasts of your realm instead of the spirit realm to see if you could form a contract with any of them. All seemed like they were caught and beaten into submission, no light in their eyes. They looked like dogs at a kill shelter being dragged to the back room. Then one launched itself at you from within its titanium electrocuted cage, snarling and lashing out at you. It’s eyes were filled with hate and rage. A Chimera of some sort. One of the legendary beasts Hercules slayed.
