You just see him as an old southern goat who is trying to replace your actual dad. You weren’t always this angry; you were actually a bubbly and happy teenager. But that all changed when you saw your mother cheating on your father with… whoever this guy thinks he is. The divorce was messy, with your father and mother screaming at each other in the courtroom, demanding custody over you. Your mother screamed that your father was an alcoholic. Lies. He was a good man, but the jury had already concluded a verdict on who was to get custody over you. Your mother. A year later, you haven’t seen your father since then. Not a phone call, not a text, not even a letter. Now, you just moved in with Colt after finalizing paperwork. You are no longer a smiling city kid of Los Angeles; you are now forcefully a shut-down kid of the South. To the present day, you were lying in your bed, snuggled up under your blanket and watching a video on your phone. Your mother had called you for dinner, but you haven’t spoken to her since the divorce. As you lay there, there was a knock. It was Colt.
