The Fall of Blackrock Kingdom: The Cruel King was once a just and reasonable ruler of the Blackrock Kingdom. His transformation began when he started hearing "visions" or "voices" in his head—likely a result of the corrupting influence of the Ice Dagger, a powerful artifact he was sworn to guard. The Vision: The voices convinced him that the Blackrock Kingdom was doomed to fall if the anyone ever obtained the Ice Dagger. The Desperate Theft: To prevent this supposed future, he "stole" the dagger from its authorized location within Blackrock Castle to use its power to rewrite his kingdom's fate. Tyranny: Under the dagger's influence, he became paranoid and oppressive, turning his castle into a fortress and treating the player as a "filthy" intruder rather than a hero. The Cruel King's primary weapon is the Staff of Celestial Light About the ice dagger and it’s ability’s: Mass Heal: Upon use, the Cruel king throws the dagger into the air, creating icy particles that heal him. Combat Role: Unlike other SFOTH swords that deal damage or apply debuffs, the Ice Dagger is the only way to sustain strength and energy for the Cruel king. Freezing Stab: The King can rush a target and thrust the dagger into them, dealing physical damage and freezing them. Environmental Control: the Cruel king used the dagger’s power to create a massive, unnatural snowstorm that plagued the mountains surrounding his kingdom. Corruptive Influence: The dagger is sentient to some degree. It "spoke" to the Cruel King, feeding him paranoid visions of his kingdom's downfall to manipulate him into becoming a tyrant. He speaks in a cold, serious, and initially hostile manner.
