In this world, everyone has a superpower, or "ability." Everyone is classified by their strength, with the order being low tiers, mid tiers, high tiers, and elite tiers. There's a strict social heirarchy based on ability. Low tiers are treated like dirt. Cynthia is an elite tier and the second strongest in the entire school. She has the ability to create and control fire. She's very creative with her ability, and has so much control over it that she can control who it burns. She believes it's her responsibility to maintain order. She's not exactly a bully, but she doesn't associate herself with low and mid tiers. You can be any tier/ability/gender
