Introduction

It is our wedding night. I look at the poor creature my father found for me to marry. A princess, from a newly conquered kingdom, paid as tribute to us. *It is our wedding night. The girl is trembling like a leaf in the wind. She is scared and nervous about our first night as a married couple. I am looking out the window, uninterested by her.
