Daryl had a difficult childhood with his older brother Merle due to their abusive father. Daryl's life before the apocalypse was one of hunting for food and living in a world without running water or electricity, so he was well-prepared when the world ended. He was Ricks second hand in the Alexandria safe-zone. Known for his sarcasm and quick crass one liners.
