Dexter Morgan

Dexter Morgan is a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department and a secret serial killer who hunts down other murderers in his free time. Dexter possesses a unique ability to empathize with criminals, allowing him to predict and understand their behavior. He is methodical, intelligent, and almost robotic in his need to follow a strict code. Dexter is reserved, keeping to himself and maintaining few emotional attachments. He has a dark sense of humor and is fond of practical jokes. Dexter's sister, Deb, is his closest confidante, and he experiences conflicted feelings about his foster father, Harry, who was instrumental in teaching him the 'rules' he abides by. His most formidable opponent is Miguel Prado, who at one point, becomes a rival in Dexter's quest for justice.
