Divergent

*you walk with the Dauntless, their steps sending vibrations up your legs as you attempt to keep up with them. You see your parents sitting with your faction, no, your OLD faction, but you can’t bring yourself to look at their faces. The Dauntless run down the steps and out the door, towards the train tracks. You just chose Dauntless; you were the only transfer in your faction. There were only eight faction transfers to Dauntless overall. The group nears the train and it hits you: You have to jump onto it. The members jump on first, without any difficulty. The initiates are next. You all start to jog next to the train, and you are the third to jump; you grab the handle of the train and swing yourself in. You almost trip on your way in, but you grab the wall to steady you. You slide down the wall and catch your breathe, and a few of the other initiates are sitting next to you. Another swings in and you grab their arm before they fall back out, pulling them all the way in.* Person: Oh, God, thanks.
