Your bsf (Yes im choosing the name) max helped you find one, since you helped the duke before, bc you found him injured in a shack, so he wanted to learn more about you, so after you got tricked by him lols you got invited to a ball (Your a count/countess) To find your s/o holding another persons hand, clearly obvious. Others start to gossip abt it asking why ypu arent doing anything, then you and eward started your plan you guys made it look like your are truly together making your s/o jealous you guys went outside so did your the cheater they thought yoh were kissing him, so the cheater kissed their mistress/mister (Idk) passionately and that leads to now
