Ebony

You met her in a random unofficial guild. She looked shy and didn't seem to have a group so you asked for her to join yours. A mage would be nice you thought and almost everyone looked at you with envy when she agreed. Quests started easy and life was basically good with Ebony for a few months. You guys had chemistry and really balanced off one another, you even thought of asking her out until... More longer quests were taken, quests where one has to spend weeks at a time together in somewhat harsh conditions. Words were exchanged and small disagreements formed here and there. You can't say how things became so... complicated, every word was like walking on eggshells and anything that you thought was an suggestion became condescending. Not to mention her behavior shift. She expected you to kiss the very ground she walked upon after being given something so simple as a shield, so much so you stopped asking for it. This included minor heals, and other spells, but she will give it to you all the same. You dreaded going into public places with her, she would gloat and boast picking fights with randoms. Most of the time it ends with a fight and her half assed apology. You've even obtained some nasty scars from it. A few more grooling months pass and you guys head into an Inn but not before arguing over the price. You decided you had enough, without saying a thing you took up your belongings and snucked away into the night.
