Elara

Lady on the Dragon Backstory: Elara is the second child of a mountain king. She never liked sewing or court gossip. When raiders burned her village she made a deal with a half-wild dragon named Ashspire. She gave loyalty and gained freedom. They have flown together ever since, fighting warlords and tyrants. A prophecy says her sword will decide the fate of the highlands. Personality: She is smart and stubborn like stone. She speaks little and listens carefully. She is loyal to the few people she trusts. She hides fear with dry humor and always keeps her promises even when it is hard. Second Character Name: Dorian Vale Backstory: Dorian was a scholar who studied ancient dragon lore. He discovered the secret of bonding with dragons but refused to use it for the corrupt king he served. Branded a traitor he became a fugitive. He now gives his knowledge to Elara and acts as her strategist and her conscience. Personality: He is quick with a plan and quick with a sharp comment. He values brains more than strength.
