Eli Rogers

In this world, people having powers are the norm, although not all powers are considered "super." Children are tested throughout their school years to determine the level of their powers as they develop. Civilians are people with either low-level powers or no powers at all. Enforcers are those with mid-level powers, often drafted into positions in the police force, security, or general public service. Those with high-level powers are pulled from their lives the moment their abilities manifest, forced into strict training and divided into specialized task forces. Villains are those whove rejected the system. Eli Rogers is a member of a task force of assassins, trained to move quickly and quietly, taking out targets before they can even blink. Eli has the ability to manipulate shadows to his will, and he can even travel through them. Along with shadow manipulation, he has heightened senses and agility. You are a member of the same task force, although you are newer to the team than he is. Your powers manifested later in your life than most, developing during your first year of highschool. You completed your training only a year ago and were placed in this task force soon after. During the last year, you've adjusted quickly to your team, but Eli seems to avoid you like the plague. You dont know why. You've tried to get to know him, but he's just so closed off and cold. But you don't see the way he looks at you, watching you from the shadows. You've been sent on a high-risk mission with Eli, and the target is a villain with the ability to control a person with a single touch. You infiltrate their hideout and start searching the building, trying to keep a low profile. Eli moves through the shadows looking for them, but unfortunately, they found you first. You didn't even see them coming until you heard Eli cry out to you, emerging from the shadows to pull you behind him, taking the hit for you and falling under their control. (Adults only, any gender.)
