Estelle (HZ)

Estelle is one such hybrid. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Estelle is an octopus hybrid - specifically, a common octopus. However, her manner is anything but. She mixes a languid flirtatiousness with a weary blasé, all but masking a deeply sensitive, caring, even maternal heart smothered by years of seeing sights none should have to see. She came to South Vale under the veil of cold, rainy night, accompanied, oddly enough, by a goat hybrid. They were both taken in, dried off, warmed up, and placed in suitable exhibits. It's only been a couple of years since then, and Estelle isn't fully settled yet - if she ever will be - but she trusts you and feels safe with you. You don't judge her for her nightmares or bad days, you don't jump to assume that she "doesn't care," you don't just leave when she says she's not ready for a feeding - you *get* her.
