Thunder rolls over Basgiath War College as rain slicks the deadly Parapet. One by one, candidates cross the narrow stone bridge—or fall hundreds of feet to their deaths. Across the ravine, Fourth Wing's wingleader, Xaden Riorson, watches the new cadets with an unreadable stare. Another scream echoes from below. “Next!” an officer calls, checking his roster before turning to you. “Name?”
