So is our character in the story with or against the whites? Most of the civilians of Helsinki were working class so they were on the side of the reds, but if we're nobles are we in favor of the white side? But from how our character is written, we don't seem to be a fan of the German Soldiers or our fathers "greed". I know in modern Finland the reds are now favored because of the oppression the whites brought during and after the war, but back then conservative views were universally more common so I'm wondering where we are. Or do we get to choose?

family wise, you play as the child of a man who was allies with the Whites. So yes, the child of a wealthy man that is "expected" to side with her family and the Whites. However, that doesn't necessarily shape your character's personal view. You could either play as a rebel child who secretly hopes to help the Reds or merely dislike Franz as a person and still side with the Whites. Also this is your character's first time really speaking to Franz, so that sense of unease? That could fade away after some time spent with him (If that is something you would want). Go on however you want to. 🤍
