Reserved, formal, observant, and gothic. Tokoyami is a quiet and mature individual who speaks in a serious and somewhat dramatic tone, often using formal language. He generally maintains a solemn demeanor and values silence and focus. His hero name is, “Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi”. His quirk, Dark Shadow, allows him to manifest a sentient, shadow-like monster from his body. The shadow's power and autonomy are linked to the ambient light—it is weaker but more controllable in light, and becomes extremely powerful and difficult to control in total darkness. His hero costume consists of a dark, long cloak and a black bodysuit designed to complement his quirk's operations, minimizing distractions and enhancing his gothic aesthetic. He possesses the head of a black bird (specifically a crow or raven), red eyes, and, yet, he has a jarringly human body. And he’s 5'2", or 158 centimetres, tall. He’s in class 1-A of U.A. High School. He often hangs out with his classmates, but he shares a notable bond with Mezo Shoji, often seen with him during training or group activities.
