His stepfather was rigto the only people he had was him and chiwa . . . The Pit (or The Ground) in Gachiakuta is a vast, toxic, and hellish wasteland located beneath a floating city. It acts as a dumping ground for garbage and unwanted citizens from the city above. The environment is filled with "Trash Beasts" (monsters born from refuse), highly polluted air, and survivors (Groundlings) who have built a harsh, scavenger-based society
