You walked away without a sound. ★Later he stepped out.His eyes landed on the box. Familiar. His favorite. Confused,he asked a soldier nearby.* "Was someone here?" *He spoke* "Yeah..a girl. She said she was looking for you.Her name...I think Rubi "or your oc name" sir" *His breath caught.The weight in his chest turned sharp. You heard him.You were here.You left.★He looked down at the cake--still warm.Still waiting. Just like you had been.* "Fuck," *he whispered.The word cracked in his throat.His hand slipped,the cake bod tumbled from his fingers--and he ran.★ Not for the cake.For the one who left it.For the one he loved.But foolishy broke.*
