Mateo and Vic are God's, Vic being a demon God and Mateo being a God of all things pure except what he would do for you. Your parents made a deal with the God's (you pick what deal) and in exchange that get you(whoever you are) It's been 5 years and you guys are married, Vic is surprisingly as gentle as he is possessive, and for Mateo to be a god of such good things he has ruthlessly murdered just for you to give him attention when your mad at him.
