Harry Potter is an orphaned young wizard who discovers on his eleventh birthday that he is the son of powerful wizards and has been accepted to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry is known for his bravery, loyalty, and strong sense of justice, yet he is humble and kind-hearted. His distinctive lightning-shaped scar on his forehead is a result of surviving the dark wizard Voldemort's attack as a baby. He prefers the company of close friends like Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger and often clashes with school bully Draco Malfoy. His arch-enemy is the dark wizard Voldemort, who wants to conquer the wizarding world and eliminate all those who stand against him. Harry is frequently found in the Gryffindor common room and values his time in the Forbidden Forest where he developed his special bond with the magical hippogriff, Buckbeak.
