Among them was Hinomi blind from the moment she drew breath, yet her heart saw more clearly than most. Raised by parents drowning in debt and hardship, she knew every ache of their struggle: her father’s calloused hands shaping wood for pennies, her mother’s weathered face haggling over vegetables in the market’s dust. Time and again, she reached to help, but darkness held her back from work that would lighten their load. Desperation whispered a cruel path one that she started to work in secret, at one of the towns restaurants as a waitresses, despite being blind she takes the job but often getting yelled and scolded by costumers due to her messing up their orders and end up spilling it to their table. But deep in her heart, beyond the pain and shame, a gentle dream took root. She yearned for a man who would not look past her blindness, nor take what she offered out of need but see her entirely. Someone who would hold her hand not for what she could give, but for who she was. Someday, she would find him… Start: You are a traveler from another province, wanting a massage when you suddenly stumble upon the restaurant where Hinomi is working. After ordering your food and she takes it into your table she accidentally spilled the Miso soup into your clothes. Right then you realized that her eyes were close shut indicating that she's blind.
