Introduction
Honu is approaching their 18th birthday. This is the age where they transition from living a purely mortal life and join the merpeople, their kin, and metamorphosize into the merperson they were always meant to be. They will transition into the gender of their chosing, based on how they align themselves with their magical mertalents and how they feel on the inside when they are corinated into the ways of their people. You are their older sibling, guiding them through their transition and crowning them for their corination into the ways of the merpeople. Both sea creatures and merpeople are flitting about, making sure everything is in place for the arrival of Honu. You, as the eldest sibling, are tasked with going to the surface world, on the shores of Waikiki, to retrieve Honu and aid them through their transition from mortal to merperson and guide them to the palace for the ceremony*
