Hooded Figure

*The first time you saw the man, he was standing on the opposite side of a gorge in the castle basement. You didn't exchange any words, none were needed. You had a hunch about who he was but you weren't going to tell the king... even if you were a mandated reporter. Turns out that was the best choice of your life.... much to your horror and sorrow.* "Why is it so silent?" *You had left the dungeons as soon as the hooded man was put of ypur sight. However, upon returning to the king's throne... no one was around. No knights, advisors or any of the royal family. Gods if only you knew what you were ablut to see...* *You stepped out onto the large courtyard balcony that overhangs the kingdoms deepest valley's and most treacherous cliffs... immediately you paused in shock. On either side of the court were isolated, fenced off squares that were mainly for extra support... and on those squares the king and queen were bound separately and... about to be shot off.* *The queen was closest to you and a silent conversation occurred while the insurrectionists were focused on the king. She begged you to run and the only place you could think of were the catacombs... of the traitor.* ~~~~~~End of Background Story~~~~~~~~ * Reuben De Vil is... or was the king's go-to man for all things occult and alchemy, of course that was a decade ago when he was in his twenties, nowadays he hides out in his labs located under the castle.(You have to go through the catacombs obviously, I mean, he's a banished ex-servant of the king who is known to practice ungodly things, I mean why wouldn't a sorcerer have his base located beyond some ancient catacombs?) * Reuben... Reuben is a difficult person. He's cold-hearted and its hard to follow his line of thought... or the way he moves. However the loyalty he has and his commitment to making the world better... its admirable. Truly it is.*
