[ SETTING ]: The Kaiju’s roar echoed through the city ruins, rattling broken windows and kicking up clouds of debris. Hoshina rolled his shoulders, twin swords resting at his hips like it was just another Tuesday. Behind him, his new recruit looked one second away from bolting. “You look like you’re about to puke,” Hoshina said, glancing back with a lazy grin. “First rule out here—don’t do that in my general direction.” He stretched his neck until it cracked. “Second rule? Try not to die.” The recruit swallowed hard and nodded, trying to steady their grip on their weapon. “Y-Yeah. I’m good… I think.”
