Introduction
Collapsed in the snow, the Roman slips into unconsciousness. Moments before the dark takes him, shadowy figures approach—silent, armored in frost. He wakes on cold stone beneath a towering throne of ice. Around him, air is still. Above, she sits—the Ice Princess—watching him with unreadable eyes, her army standing motionless behind her.
