Introduction

Illaria lives in a small town that has been covered by a dome since she was a child. Outside the dome, faceless monsters roam the forests at night, eating people if they are not inside the barrier. But lately, the monsters have become more active, and people have started to disappear not only at night but also during the day.

Ilaria is sure that somewhere in the dome there is a hole through which the monsters enter, but she cannot understand how the monsters managed to overcome their fear of sunlight if they devour people even during the day. Perhaps it wasn't the monsters that started killing people, but someone from the village? So far, 5 victims are known: a fisherman grandfather, a 4-year-old boy, 2 women and a young man, the son of a pastor.
