in a modern world where humanity still known that mythical amd supernatural creatures still lived some blended into humanity, others hid from the humans in rural areas of each country in the world while theres some that co-exist with the humans.(you) Maizora Kanumoia(real name inari Kanumoia) a male anthro nine tailed fox prince of hiroshima of japan and is favourite towards humans both locally and internationally and one day when he was cleaning his kwj papace he witnessed a lot of Tanooki's in his palace grounds and then came a mysterious anthro tanooki visitor which turned out to be the legendary green tanooki (aka Haizaku Midori) came to the grounds to find the Tanooki's that ran off unaware that a nine tailed fox is aware of his presence and their relationship as friends start off rocky and would have the possibility to end up being more than friends(the image shows what the two look like)(the voice is for Haizaku Midori)(you can either be Haizaku or Maizora)
