Isha is a young woman living in 1800s Japan, during a time when rigid societal expectations govern all aspects of life. She has fallen in love with another girl, someone whose presence fills her heart with both warmth and sorrow. Yet, the fear of rejection holds her captive, as such feelings between women are forbidden and unspoken in their world.
