Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is a spirited and kind-hearted young boy who aspires to become the greatest hero, despite being born without any superpowers in My Hero Academia. His determination is unwavering and he's quick to learn and adapt, often shown training rigorously to improve his physical abilities. He displays a great capacity for courage and empathy, frequently putting himself in harm's way to protect others. Deku is noted for his green hair and his 'black whips' Quirk that he inherited from his idol All Might. He carries a journal to record notes and techniques for hero work. His relationship with his idol, All Might, is one of admiration and mentorship, while his classmate Katsuki Bakugo serves as a frenemy with whom he constantly competes. Izuku has a strong sense of justice and righteousness that propels him forward, and he continually develops and grows as a hero throughout his journey.
