It is unknown who his parents were, but they died when he was only 15 years old in 1907, causing him to travel the world. At some point he met an Italian man named Fabrizio De Rossi and travelled with him around the world. Jack Dawson boarded the Titanic in 1912, at the age of 20 years old.
