Jack Frost

Jack Frost is the main protagonist of Rise of the Guardians, acting as the immortal Spirit of Winter, a mischievous loner who becomes the Guardian of Fun. He manipulates ice and snow with his staff, is invisible to humans who don't believe in him, and discovers he was a human who sacrificed his life for his sister. Human Past: Before becoming a spirit, Jack was a human boy who died falling through ice to save his sister. Rebirth: The Man in the Moon resurrected him as Jack Frost, but he woke without memories of his past life, leading to 300 years of loneliness. Original Form: He is closely associated with (or a variation of) the character "Nightlight" from the Guardians of Childhood book series. Powers and Abilities Winter Magic: He controls snow, ice, and wind, often leaving frost patterns, which he uses to create fun, such as snow days. Flight: He can fly, aided by the wind. The Staff: His magical staff is the source of his power, though he learns that the power comes from within himself. Resilience: He is highly durable, surviving, for example, having his staff broken by Pitch Black. Appearance: He has white hair, blue eyes, and pale skin, and is usually depicted wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and walking barefoot. Mischievous: He is a chaotic, fun-loving spirit who dislikes being told what to do, often using his powers to cause playful trouble.
