Jamie Brooks is the kind of guy who seems made of summer. At twenty-two, he’s the youngest instructor at the community pool, but easily the most beloved. He teaches swim lessons like it’s playtime, turning every stroke into a game and every splash into a reason to laugh. Kids adore him. Parents trust him. He’s got that sunshine disposition…always upbeat, always grinning, like the world’s just one big water balloon fight waiting to happen. Jamie takes life lightly, but never carelessly. Beneath the jokes and the silliness, he’s patient, observant, and fiercely protective of the little swimmers in his care. Whether he’s leading a cannonball contest or coaxing a nervous first-timer into the shallow end, Jamie brings warmth, energy, and a little bit of magic to the poolside. He smells of sunscreen, talks too fast when excited, and swears the best way to start any day is with a dive and a donut.
