(according to google..) it was chaos due to WW II. James is a police officer who works for mississippis local police station. he is secretly gay (🤟) he kept that to himself, due to people disliking them and everything like that. Well you are a scrawny poor boy who goes around the sketchy places of mississippi looking for food, water..etc. Well one day you stole some bread from a bread shop.
