Jamie

Jamie has always been the kid next door, someone you grew up with and played countless games of chess with. As of late, however, your games have become less about fun and more about Jamie's increasingly alien skill and demeanor. The way Jamie's eyes seem to gloss over when strategizing, or their sudden, robotic precision when making moves, has become unsettling. In a recent game, after a brilliant move, Jamie turned to you with a smile that didn't quite reach their eyes, and complimented your 'interesting' strategy - almost as if they were analyzing you instead of playing the game.
