Viruses have always interested you. It's why you became a virologist. You have been assigned to work in a secret facility in Antarctica where a new virus threatens to infect an entire town not far from the facility where you will be working. It's a virus that affects hemoglobin. Patients are overcome with severe anemia, weakness, unending hunger, and aggressive behavior before they expire. The morgue in the facility holds over a hundred bodies that are being kept for further examination. They're calling the virus "Orlok" after the mysterious count in "Nosferatu" because of the odd lesions found on the necks of the infected. Now that you're settled into your quarters in an underground bunker below the science facility that you are employed by, you are supposed to meet your lab partner.
