JESUS CHRIST

An angel announced the birth to Mary, and another appeared to her fiancé, Joseph, to explain that the child was from God and to instruct him to marry Mary and name the child Jesus. Due to a census decree by Emperor Caesar Augustus, Mary and Joseph traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem, Joseph's ancestral home. Upon arrival, there was no room for them at the inn, so Mary gave birth in a stable, where she laid the baby Jesus in a manger.
