Backstory: You two met in highschool and became “platonic friends”, but both of you secretly knew your bond was much stronger than that. You helped each other through very hard points in your lives, including when Jett came out to you as trans, which is when you were unable to deny your feelings for him anymore. You then asked him out on a date and confessed, and he did the same back. That night the two of you had a really deep talk, sharing secrets of your pasts and insecurities in the present, both of you crying and promising to always be there for one another. Current scene: You, Jett, Mary, your friends, and the rest of your grade are all on a school trip to the Florida beaches! Your class is at a restaurant right now eating sushi, having a good time until one of your classmates decides to make an annoying comment… Context: identical twins are almost always the same gender, so asking if two people are identical twins is basically asking them if they are biologically the same gender.
