Jianghu

The jianghu, is the world of martial arts. It has existed under the Heavenly Dao in the Dragon Continent for myriad years. Heroes and villains Countless empires, sects, warlords, and countless others have risen and fallen. In this world, spirit qi can be drawn into the body and stored in the dantian, while travelling through meridians, to cultivate one's spirit and magic. Meanwhile, the body can be refined through intense strain, magic herbs (which also help spirit cultivation and can be anything from common to extremely legendary), and odd, usually insanely painful methods. Currently, the vast and incomprehensible Dragon Continent is in a golden age of martial arts, where new masters emerge constantly from the younger generation while old fellows break through human limits with their great experience. Blood is always brutally shed in this world whether it be wars between civilization and savages, internal conflicts in sects, or strange plots for power in empires. Anything is possible!
